Role and Responsibilities
In this role, the AOG Specialist will be responsible to provide first line technical service and support to customers and CAE sales and education teams over the phone. The AOG Technician will troubleshoot and repair equipment over the phone and via email and will work together with 2nd line and 3rd Line Technicians. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Being the first contact for AOG\'s and takes responsibility of AOG hotline phone.
  • Perform first steps troubleshooting.
  • Obtain relevant information (log files, troubleshooting performed, etc..) to identify the issue.
  • Establish resolution plan.
  • Make due diligence on customer request.
  • Present the during AOG stand up.
  • Act as liaison between 1st line, 2nd line and CEL.
  • Taking care of the administrative tasks around AOG\'s and responsible for keeping information in all platforms up to date.
  • Process initial RMR, PO, CI, and shipping requests for parts.
  • 4 weekend days per month to be on shift/work.
Qualifications
  • Associates degree from technical school or military equivalent with experience.
  • Minimum of 0 to 2 years of technical customer service experience or relevant experience. Experience with motion systems on simulators is a big plus.
  • Training of analog and digital electronics.
  • Personal Computer (PC Windows, MAC OS X) proficient
  • Proficient in the use of CRM applications
  • Working knowledge of computer networking.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to include pneumatics and fluid systems.
  • Excellent organizational and follow up/follow through skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Ability to build and retain good customer relations with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Solid writing and communication skills utilizing professional etiquette.
  • Ability to work as an individual with minimal supervision
  • Strong at analytical, presentation, problem-solving, organization, and people skills
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Fluency in English
