Position overview


Are you planning to advance your skills in Accounts Payable by managing cash flow, and paying vendors and suppliers? As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will provide administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices as well as monitoring expenses. In this role, you will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping it on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued vendors or suppliers. If you are someone who is detailed orientated and possess great accounting skills, we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities


  • Review and validate invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment.
  • Generate and process the payment as necessary.
  • Perform invoice and general ledger data entry.
  • Execute accounts reconciliation.
  • Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems.
  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
  • Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
  • Follow internal policies and procedures on all tasks assigned.


Required skills and experience


  • Proven professional working experience in Finance or Accounts Payable, preferably from SSC/ GBS environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel Advanced.
  • Experience with ERP systems is added advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting and VAT requirements.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must; Mandarin speaking is an added advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability in time and planning management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Act as a team player.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
