ASSA ABLOY APAC manufacture and sell mechanical and electromechanical locks, digital door locks, high-security doors and fittings.

With a large Dynamics AX programme on going and more divisional IT applications to come ASSA ABLOY APAC is looking to recruit an experienced Business System Consultant to join the internal application team working on designing, implementing and operating the divisional ERP application portfolio based on Dynamics AX.

The ASSA ABLOY Dynamics AX programme is one of the largest in the world and offers plenty of challenges and opportunities for the right candidate.

Currently, Dynamics AX 2012 R3 in APAC is in use and we are planning to upgrade to D365 version of the ERP - this will be a major multi-year project. As part of the Dynamics AX implementation integrations to other systems are implemented (Data warehouse, BI, Banking, Barcode scanning etc.).

The APAC ERP Application Project Manager will become member of an internal application team with 9-10 skilled Application resources working together with external AX partners to design, develop and implement the APAC AX solution.

The APAC ERP Application Project Manager will report to the APAC Application Director.

Responsibility

The APAC ERP Application Project Manager will be responsible for:

• Managing ERP projects with structured project methodology and stakeholder engagement
• Managing software vendors engaged to deliver ERP projects, consulting and development work
• Analysis of business processes and determining system requirements
• Developing detailed project plans to drive changes and improvements
• Documentation of business processes, requirements, design, test etc.
• Design, configuration and testing of system functionality in Dynamics AX and related systems.
• Definition of standards, policies and processes
• Quality reviews of documentation, processes, implementations etc.
• Supporting the business during implementations

Dynamics AX 2012 R3 with:

• AX Localisation packs
• AX 3rd party modules
• 3rd party applications integrated to AX
• DW/BI solution based on MS-SQL
• Output document management system
• 3000 users

e-Commerce, EDI, Logistic integration systems

Integrations between divisional and global or local systems

IT Organisation

Part of the APAC IT Organisation

Liaise with external partners, internal IT teams, internal Business stakeholders.

Requirements

APAC Business System Consultant with good business knowledge and ERP experience.

Experience in independently managing ERP projects using Dynamics AX or D365 F&O following structured project management methodologies.

Experience with managing projects with IT vendors and ensuring project deliverables are met within cost, quality and schedule

Experience with implementing Dynamics AX in an integrated IT landscape for a multinational company. Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations preferred but not a must.

Must have good business process competences of diverse business areas - e.g. from a functional business role or similar. Experience with project management and IT standards and documentation is required. It would be a plus if having experience in Manufacturing and Planning processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Clear in communication and reporting and fluent in English. Proficiency in Chinese would be an added advantage.

Travel will be required.
