Job Description

This role is active in the APAC SPS PPM team, Global SPS PPM Technical Management, Country Technical Support and APAC SPS PPM Key Accounts.

• Collaborate and support APAC and country CPD teams in the development of PPM new products and solutions for APAC SPS PPM

• Lead the technical & development initiatives for the APAC PPM product portfolio to support growth strategy. Drive productivity by optimising development resource in agreed project priorities across countries in APAC

• Identify, prepare and implement technical strategies based on a multi-disciplined approach with marketing, sales and development teams

• Support SPS APAC countries PPM technical requirements, NPI, and campaign teams in new product launches including Demo trials and PLCM.

• Leverage technical know-how as a partner to add value (including new chemical and non-chemical technologies, market fit, customer needs, brand development, technical launch platform, competitor intelligence) to the APAC SPS PPM businesses.

• Provide strategic background on product positioning and conduct dialogue with local selected PCO companies in respective countries in APAC including key influencers with focus on emerging countries.

• Lead and build capabilities in technical excellence in APAC SPS Expert Network.

Accountabilities

• Propose new products and solutions including enhancing product positioning to add value to the APAC SPS PPM portfolios.

• Develop product profile and benefits to deliver the project milestones and timelines within costs.

• Liaise with regional and global development teams to ensure timely and accurate technical knowledge transfer.

• Develop technical product training materials for internal Syngenta staff and key influencers / channel partners for PPM.

• Actively working with country marketing team for introduction of new products. (NPI launch, including generating local data and/or demo trial)

• Build strong relationships with key influencers and channel partners to facilitate making Syngenta products brand the products of choice to these institutions (particularly for VC portfolio) including PCO companies based on strong technical position & confidence in use.

• Ensure that development of product portfolio to support the strategic development and PPM business plans (via identification of gap and new market segment).

• Keep abreast of Professional Pest Management competitors landscape, analysis of new technologies in order to represent APAC SPS PPM Team at internal meetings, external conferences, and third-party engagements.

Qualifications

Critical knowledge

• B.Sc. or Postgraduate in Public Health /Pest Management

Critical experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in pest management industry.
• Deep understanding of public health pests\xe2\x80\x99 behaviour, chemicals and application technology for PPM products.
• Broad background in public health industry.
