Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the implementation of new functionalities or evolutions

2. Responsible for the analysis and documentation of exiting code

3. Responsible for the analysis of new request or specification of new functionality

4. Responsible for the evaluation of development effort and delays

5. Identify and evaluate changes' impacts on the manufacturing equipment ecosystem.

6. Responsible for the code quality in respect to developments best practices

7. Responsible for the code management and documentation

8. Responsible for functional and technical logs implementation

9. Responsible for the identification of unit test and integration tests that should be applied.

10. Ensure support & quick fix during release to production, tests and equipment qualification.

11. Involved in architecture evolution of the ESP (Equipment Integration Program) to support X-FAB France strategic needs (i.e.: X-PERT)

REQUIREMENTS

1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Professional Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ E&E or equivalent.

2. Fresh graduates with exposure in C languages encouraged to apply.

3. Skills/Competencies:

Good communication skills (oral & written), deep understanding of technical C developments challenges, Passion for technology and enjoy software development, enjoy analyzing & understanding of existing complex codes, advanced practice of C Debugger Leadership. Able to self-motivate to pick up new skills and programming languages.
4. Behavioral Competencies

Ability to work remotely in multicultural organization. Open-minded and willing to accept all kinds of challenges & assignment. Willing to share and learn. Self-motivated, and committed to get the job done. Willing to standby 24x7 to support production line.
5. Technical/ Functional Competencies

Mandatory
- ANSI C programming skill

- SQL Language

Optional
- Linux CentOS knowledge.

- Code repository best practices.

- SECS/GEM standard protocol.

- knowledge of Java, C#
