About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Application Engineer - Data Center Infrastructure to join our LDCS team in Balakong. In this role, you will support our sales and project teams by designing and developing tailored technical solutions for our customers. You will play a key part in system integration and product selection across a range of data center infrastructure components including UPS systems, Busway, PDUs, Racks, Containment Systems, and Cable Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and propose optimal data center infrastructure solutions. Provide detailed technical support and product recommendations during the pre-sales process. Prepare technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, BOQs (Bill of Quantity), and proposals. Customize solutions involving UPS, PDU, Track Busway, Racks, Containment Systems, and Cable Management according to project requirements. Work with vendors and internal teams to ensure product compatibility and seamless integration. Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies in data center infrastructure.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in data center or electrical infrastructure design, preferably in a pre-sales or technical solutions role. Strong knowledge of power systems (UPS, Busway, PDU), cooling concepts, containment solutions, and rack/cable management. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design tools is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
