Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Application Engineer to support our marine industry clients in Malaysia. The role involves pump and motor selection, preparing quotations, and managing order processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fluid handling systems and marine applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Select appropriate pumps and motors based on customer requirements and marine application specifications. Prepare technical and commercial quotations in a timely and accurate manner. Liaise with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing. Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and industry standards. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field). 2+ years of experience in pump/motor application engineering, preferably in the marine or industrial sector. Familiarity with marine standards and specifications is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software tools. Able to work independently and travel within Malaysia when required.
