Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

• Designing / Solutioning / Provisioning of Application Infrastructure as per the Project needs.
• Application software (Including third party products) installations and upgrades
• Facilitate OS and Other Application Infrastructure Software patching
• To deliver new server setups/configurations & provision of various application environments
• To work with development team to understand the application requirements from software and infrastructure and suggest/deliver the suitable designs/procedures.
• To establish Interface connectivity with upstream/downstream systems & also address necessary connectivity requirements for the Business users.
• To work with development team to troubleshoot on any performance related issues and find solutions
• To be able to work with other infrastructure teams like administrators, DBA, Networks team to complete the tasks as per the schedules.
• To be able to plan, implement, monitor, report & deliver various key Project requirements
• To be able to co-ordinate/perform application DR testing -automation of DR scripts is mandatory
• To be able to work with team member, guiding junior staff and take responsibility for deliverables
• Drive/Deliver automation in the environment provisioning, health checks & upgrades

Skills

Must have

• 3-5 years experience in Linux, Windows operating system
• Experience in Technology delivery skills to plan, implement, monitor & report the Infrastructure project requirements.
• Expertise in Middleware technologies (Weblogic, WebSphere , OBIEE etc)
• Prior experience in Linux / Windows server Migrations.
• Sound knowledge on server hardware in VM and Physical server environments
• Proficient with Batch & Power Shell scripting
• Hands-on experience in the ORACLE /MS SQL Database maintenance.
• Experience in Performance tuning of queries.
• Good Knowledge on understanding the third-party vendor applications installations
• To be a quick learner - Gain working level knowledge in any new tools and technology as needed in Finance department
