Location : PenangSalary : RM 3,500 - 4,500job description

• Review customer drawings, bill of materials, reference specifications, approved vendor list and any other required documents.
• Ensure that all applicable specifications are obtained and maintained in the company data systems for production release. Prepare system master files including master bill of material.
• Review all drawings for completeness to build: assuring that documentation is legible and that any referenced documentation is available to manufacturing, quality and document control personnel.
• Review drawing discrepancies with customer as required, contact customer engineering for problem resolution, and implement drawing deviation processes to gain customer approval for any changes.
• Review customer ECO\'s and internal change order (ECR) for implementation.
• Conducts RFI/Q/P (Request for Information/Quotation/Proposal) and bidding processes, minimizing rish and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
• Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Source and work closely with new and existing suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery schedules, and cost targets.
• Prepare quotation file ensuring that they are complete and accurate. Prepare quotation worksheet as required to document additional costs including engineering charges and identification of tooling and test fixture requirements to be purchased when a new order is received. Interface with all other departments as required to resolve any discrepancies with customer documentation.
• Calculate and quote labor using labor standards database.
• Occasionally go off-site to customer facilities and interface with customer engineering in order to provide engineering support.
• Follow company guidelines and policies for selecting suppliers and utilizing inventory already in supply wherever possible.
• Understanding of the ISO 9001 requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduate welcome or 1 year work experience
