Lattice is looking for a motivated and experienced factory Applications Engineer to support USB IP & solutions, high-speed serial protocols, designs, vendors and customers with our current and future industry-leading devices. The right engineer will have significant experience in USB protocol, high-speed SERDES interfaces, and signal integrity. As part of the IP Product Enablement team, we bridge the customer-factory relationship, clear technical hurdles and provide timely and reliable solutions. Innovative solutions utilize our products in board- and system-level environments, and require skills primarily in FPGA solution development engineering but the right candidate will possess a breadth of experience and skills. While Lattice is successful in helping our customers slash their time-to-market and bottom-line with our market-driven solutions, we want to continue to invite experts to challenge the status quo. Our IP Product Enablement team is seeking an outstanding team member to help design and execute "best-in-class" solutions for our best-in-class low power, small form factor, high reliability and performance product line.Specific Job Skill Requirements

  • Experience in Software application development including host driver, SW stacks in Linux or Windows OS to enable system orchestration
  • Experience in a wide variety of USB standards & design, including, USB 2.0/3.x/4.0
  • Familiar with system level integration and debugging
General Requirements
  • BS/MS in EE with 8+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of FPGA design flow and development tools is desirable, knowledge of RISC-V systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Programming language C/C++, TCL, Python is a plus
  • Participation in all aspects of product development, from architecture and specification through documentation, market release and customer support
  • Creating product collaterals to guide end-users on how to use and integrate Lattice design solutions and software into their end products
  • Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal required
  • Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment
