Key Responsibilities: . As the JDE application development subject matter expert, guide the technical design, custom development and solution architect with a focus on the core modules - Financials, Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Labelling Key Responsibilities: . As the JDE application development subject matter expert, guide the technical design, custom development and solution architect with a focus on the core modules - Financials, Sales & Distribution, Manufacturing, and Labelling Lead, direct, and prioritize the day-to-day workload of the JDE developers in supporting the application and its interfaces to other systems. . Based on business requirements, work with JDE IT functional teams to propose, design, and document custom solutions in JDE to ensure scalable enterprise platform. . As a JDE developer, create, modify, and test JDE custom solutions in the Object Management Workbench (OMW) development toolkit (including approve for testing build on a daily basis). . Coordinate technical architecture changes with the JDE CNC team to ensure knowledge of system impact is considered. . Provide guidance, planning, and estimates for projects, enhancements, and the resolution of bugs in JDE. Provide regular status updates to the key functional area managers and team members regarding workload, status, priorities, and issues/roadblocks needing resolution. . Implement and maintain a testing process for new and changed code within JDE including the unit test phase. Provide guidance on JDE development best practices, standards, and procedures. Establish these standards where they are lacking. . For maintenance and support, provide guidance to ensure the long-term strategy and best practices are implemented for system maintain. Analysis of queries, databases design, and table query performance as to avoid potential performance impact. Education and Experience: . Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. . At least 10+ years coding experience with JDE in large development efforts with focus on one or more core modules - Financials, Distribution, and Manufacturing. . At least 5+ years leading JDE development team of five or more developers Expert knowledge and experience of JDE 9.2 Sales & Distribution, Financial, and Manufacturing. . Expert JDE development level knowledge and experience of: Orchestrator and integrations within JDE and with non JDE applications Object Management Workbench (OMW) development toolkit. Report Writer & Financial Report Writer Forms Development and Event Rules Writing SQL queries JDE Security Table Conversions BSFNs and NERs . Experience with a variety of relational database servers is preferred - Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 Additional Skills: . Strong development and design skills with the ability to transform user requirements to program specifications and to communicate effectively with IT functional teams throughout the process. . Strong troubleshooting experience of interactive applications, UBE and business functions. . Strong knowledge and familiarity with JDE interoperability processes, such as Z file processing. . Knowledge of basic CNC activities. . Experience with Java, BI Publisher and MES/PLM Integration is a plus . Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies and standards. . Excellent interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) . Strong coordination and organization skills. . Able to work independently and collaboratively.. . Able to develop new approaches to complex design problems. . Able to research and analyze data to diagnose and resolve system issues. . Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
