Salary: RM 15K-23K Location: Kuching, Sarawak JOB PURPOSE We are looking for an innovative solution architect to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs. The solution architect\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place to identify areas in need of improvement, and overseeing development teams. You should be able to integrate any updated specifications and requirements into the systems architecture. An outstanding solution architect should be able to explain complex problems to management in layman\xe2\x80\x99s terms. The position reports to the Senior Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Product Development RESPONSIBILITIES: \xe2\x80\xa2 Building and integrating information systems to meet the company\xe2\x80\x99s needs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolving technical problems as they arise. \xe2\x80\xa2 Providing supervision and guidance to development teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed. \xe2\x80\xa2 Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have. \xe2\x80\xa2 Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets \xe2\x80\xa2 Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture \xe2\x80\xa2 Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets REQUIREMENTS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related fields \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of 8 years of experience in implementation of technology solutions, with a track record of successfully delivering technology solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience and knowledge of cloud computing. Good understanding of business processes. Strong organizational skills. Strong understanding of analytical skills and techniques. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong technical domain knowledge, including architecture, DevOps, microservices, cloud, open-source databases, RESTful APIs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to successfully lead a team and work with cross-functional teams. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in various software designs, languages, and architecture. \xe2\x80\xa2 Practical experience in project management. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with computer networks and IT security management. \xe2\x80\xa2 You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environment.
