Job Description

The Solutions Architect analyses, designs and develops roadmaps and implementation plans based on a current versus future state solutions architecture. He / She leads and facilitates the solutions architecture governance processes based on the enterprise architecture governance structure and manages exceptions to architectural standards at a solutions level. He / She assesses near-term needs to establish business priorities, analyses and develop solutions architectural requirements, and ensures alignment of architectural requirements with the IT strategy. He / She analyses the current architecture including IT software and infrastructure to identify weaknesses and identifies opportunities for improvement, and performs ongoing architecture quality review activities. He / She works in a dynamic and evolving business environment. Knowledge about enterprise architecture, product development methodologies, industry trends and standards will be an advantage. The Solutions Architect is recognised as the most experienced and knowledgeable resources within the field in the organisation. He / She collaborates with other departments on architecting solutions design, and integrating diverse needs and perspectives to develop fresh ideas and solutions. He / She possesses strong leadership and communication abilities, is creative and innovative in nature, and is able to influence key stakeholders. Work Functions:

• Formulate the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s architecture strategy, roadmap, standards, policies and procedures, and governance
• Develop architecture requirements and maintain oversight
• Manage quality and continuous improvement of architecture
• Research emerging technologies
• Drive implementation of solutions architecture

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree or higher from a reputable universities.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in IT industry of which 3 years are in Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or Solution Architect related roles in vendor or consulting environment.
• Skills in modelling language such as UML and BPMN is an advantage.
• Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
• Excellent skills in consultative engagement approach with clients.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills, and documentation writing skills in English.
• Passionate and possess strong business acumen, have strategic thinking ability in business technology impacts and to \xe2\x80\x98Think Technical/Technology but Speak and Write Business language.
• Excellent communication skills in articulating information to various organization levels (from users to C-levels) and have ability to actively involved in high profile consultation engagements.
• Excellent inter-personal skills and ability to lead and guide team.
• Independent, results oriented and self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision and possess strong passion to learn/re-learn.
• Ability to develop partnerships, customer intimacy and relationships with key stakeholders.
