Job Description


  • Possess at least a Diploma or Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building.
  • To deal with sub-contractors on sub-contractors\' issues.
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience in contract administration.
  • Details oriented, aggressive, able to work under pressure, good follow up and organizing skills.
  • Possess initiative, proactive, assertive, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • To assist Architect in planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling all aspect of Architectural sub-contractors.
  • To coordinate with Architecture sub-contractors to ensure smooth, effective and productive and timely completion of project.
  • To be able to identify and resolve problems effectively.
  • To ensure compliance with local authorities and consultants\' requirements.
  • To draft simple correspondences.
  • To collect and compile all records and submit to Architectural Engineer or Consultant.
  • Assists/supports the in all matters relating to design development and drawing.
  • To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
  • To maintain good house-keeping.
  • Ensure proper labour and material control.
  • To ensure the QMS systems procedures are implemented on the projects.
  • Perform any other project duties as assigned by the superior.
  • In charge of project and carry out contract administration duties including preparing Letter of Award to subcontractors, prepare subcontractor\'s certificate of payment, contractual correspondence, review contractors\' quotation or claims for variation works, carry out site valuation and process interim progress claim and etc.
  • To carry out joint site measurement with sub-contractors.
  • To attend joint evaluation of progress claim with Contract team.
  • Quantity taking off, cost estimate and contract administrations.
  • Collate and compile cost data reports.
  • Resolve any outstanding claim issues on variations order and final accounts.
  • Handle cost controlling in all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure.
  • To ensure the ISO 9001 QMS systems procedures are implemented on the projects.
  • Perform any other project duties as assigned by the superior.
