The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple restaurant outlets to ensure consistent quality, service, and profitability. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with company standards, and leading outlet teams to achieve sales and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee the performance and operations of assigned restaurant outlets.
Ensure all outlets comply with company SOPs, service standards, and hygiene requirements.
Conduct regular visits to outlets to monitor service quality, cleanliness, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.
Review and analyze outlet sales reports, inventory levels, and cost control.
Support outlet managers in resolving operational issues and implementing improvement plans.
Ensure smooth coordination between HQ and outlet teams.
People Management
Supervise and guide Outlet Managers and staff to achieve operational excellence.
Identify training needs and assist in staff development programs.
Evaluate staff performance and ensure proper manpower planning at each outlet.
Maintain high team morale and discipline across all outlets.
Sales & Business Performance
Monitor sales performance and develop action plans to achieve revenue targets.
Implement marketing and promotional activities at outlet level.
Analyze customer feedback and market trends to enhance service and menu offerings.
Compliance & Administration
Ensure compliance with local authorities' regulations (health, safety, halal, licensing, etc.).
Verify and approve operational documents such as reports, claims, and inventory records.
Prepare and submit monthly operation reports to management.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in F&B operations, preferably in a supervisory or area management role.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Hands-on and willing to travel frequently to outlets.
Able to multitask and manage multiple teams effectively.
Good understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, and P&L reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills (Optional)
Experience in multi-outlet management within a restaurant chain.
Knowledge of food safety, halal compliance, and customer service standards.
Strong analytical and decision-making ability.
