Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, strong sense of game artistry, and idea-driven Art Director with experience in game development. This role is ideal for someone passionate about combining art and technology to create captivating gaming experiences while leading a talented creative team in a fast-paced, competitive market.Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Game Design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in art direction within a gaming studio, 5+ years of experience in related game development industry.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work, including character design, UI, and game environments.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D software (Maya, Blender), and UI/UX design tools (Figma, Sketch).
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining visual concepts and giving constructive feedback.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with 3D modelling and animation.

• Familiarity with various game art styles, regulations, and trends.

• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player motivations.

• Experience with Spine Animation.

ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Creative Leadership:

• Develop and lead the overall visual direction of game design, including UI, characters, environments, and animations.
• Set the visual style and tone for all creative assets, ensuring alignment with the company\'s vision and market trends.
• Guide and mentor the art team, providing feedback and direction to artists, animators, and designers.

Production Management:

• Oversee all stages of art production, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining top-tier quality.
• Manage external art vendors and freelancers when necessary.
• Ensure that all artwork adheres to technical requirements and is optimised for various platforms (mobile, web, etc.).

Collaboration:

• Work closely with game developers and other stakeholders to bring game concepts to life with cutting-edge visuals.
• Partner with marketing and product teams to design high-impact promotional materials, including banners, videos, and branding elements.
