Job Description

:
We are seeking an experienced AS400 Developer with strong proficiency in RPG /Cobol to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and implementing software applications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG (RPG III, IV, ILE), CL, and cobol.
• Analyze user requirements and design technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing and support system integration testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix production issues on AS400 applications.
• Work on new enhancements, bug fixes, and performance tuning of existing applications.
• Develop and maintain system documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and project managers.
• Migrate and modernize legacy RPG programs when necessary.
• Provide support for batch jobs and production support on AS400 platform.

Required Skills:

• Work collaborate with business use established requirement management methodology and tools to identify ,verify and document business, functional and technical requirement to support development of technology solutions.
• Assist BA in defining solution, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities as well as target benefits expected.
• Design and document application using AS400.
• Identify new hardware and software technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations.
• Direct the development and configuration of application components from Conceptualization through stabilization using various computer platform.
• testing, debug and document components of an application.
