Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Assembly Engineer to oversee and optimize our walkie talkie production assembly line. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to improve assembly efficiency, maintain product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage leaders/operators to support and optimize assembly processes. Plan resources and manage budgets to achieve departmental goals and targets. Maintain product quality, achieve KPIs for yield, cycle time, and downtime, and establish SOPs to ensure consistent standards. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, set up assembly line layouts, and design jigs and fixtures to enhance process efficiency. Prepare detailed process documentation, ensure ISO compliance, and adhere to safety and operational standards. Use QC tools to identify and resolve process issues, recommending design or procedural improvements.

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering. 3 years and above of experience in box build assembly environment. Having working experience in SMT manufacturing is an added advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Computer proficiency in MS Office applications. Good verbal and written communication in Mandarin, English and Malay to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
