A new opportunity has arisen within their finance department for an experienced accounting professional in Kelana Jaya office. Candidate profile To be considered for this senior executive level, candidate must possess a tertiary accounting qualification at Diploma or degree level. The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills, a matured work ethic, proficient in Excel skills. The candidate must have at least 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics environment with foreign currencies transaction. The individual should possess personal qualities such as energetic and enthusiasm and attention to details. A team player with good communication skills. Sound Excel and IT skills are also a pre-requisite.
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible to manage full set of accounts of two logistics services companies. Monthly accounts preparation. Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet positions, i.e. accruals & prepayments, AP & AR. Payment preparation and processing. Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting. This role is a full time permanent office based position in Kelana Jaya. The working hours are as follows: 9.00 am-5.30 pm(Monday-Friday) 9.00 am-1.00 pm (Alternate Saturday basis)
