• Position: Assistant Accountant.
• Salary: RM 4000-5000.
• Location: Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya.

Our client is a market leader in the international logistics industry with extensive experience in supply chain distribution portfolio. They serve some of world\'s best known importers and exporters with their complex international logistics requirements, from air and ocean freight forwarding to Customs clearance, warehousing and distribution. A new opportunity has arisen within their finance department for an experienced accounting professional in Kelana Jaya office.
Candidate profile
To be considered for this senior executive level, candidate must possess a tertiary accounting qualification at Diploma or degree level.
The successful applicant will have strong written and verbal communication skills, a matured work ethic, proficient in Excel skills.
The candidate must have at least 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics environment with foreign currencies transaction. The individual should possess personal qualities such as energetic and enthusiasm and attention to details. A team player with good communication skills. Sound Excel and IT skills are also a pre-requisite.

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible to manage full set of accounts of two logistics services companies.
Monthly accounts preparation.
Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet positions, i.e. accruals & prepayments, AP & AR.
Payment preparation and processing.
Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
This role is a full time permanent office based position in Kelana Jaya.
The working hours are as follows:
9.00 am-5.30 pm(Monday-Friday)
9.00 am-1.00 pm (Alternate Saturday basis)
