Assistant Chef
to support our Head Chef and kitchen team as we continue to grow.
Role Overview
As an Assistant Chef, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking during service (especially saute and deep-frying), and maintaining kitchen efficiency. This role requires speed, discipline, teamwork, and a strong willingness to learn both cooking and kitchen paperwork. You'll be part of a team dedicated to high standards and fresh, from-scratch cooking.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations
Cook dishes during service
Assist in food preparation and production - all dishes made from scratch
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times
Follow kitchen SOPs and food safety standards
Learn and assist with basic kitchen paperwork and inventory tasks
Take initiative while also following instructions from senior chefs
Uphold a strong work ethic and professional behaviour during all shifts
Communicate clearly with kitchen and service team members
Maintain consistency and quality, especially during busy service hours
Applicant Requirements
2-3 years
of kitchen experience (ideally in hotels or restaurant chains)
Solid understanding of
food safety, hygiene, and storage
Must be
punctual, disciplined

Ability to
work quickly and efficiently
under pressure
Experience with
various cooking methods
(especially deep-fry & saute)
Ability to work

Fresh school leavers or diploma graduates
in culinary arts are encouraged to apply
Minimum education:
Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level
A diploma in culinary skills is an added advantage
