with four outlets across Klang Valley, best known for our authentic Fish & Chips and Western comfort food. We are looking for an

experienced and driven Assistant Chef

to join our team at our Damansara Uptown outlet.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership and kitchen management skills who's passionate about maintaining quality, consistency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



Assist the Outlet Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations Manage food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistent quality Ensure all food is handled, cooked, and stored according to hygiene and safety standards Lead and motivate kitchen staff to deliver excellent service Train and develop team members in recipes, cooking methods, and SOPs Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation effectively Minimise food waste and ensure cost control targets are met Complete daily checklists, maintain SOP documentation, and report to management Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times

Requirements



Malaysian citizens only

Minimum 2

years of kitchen experience

cooking Western cuisine and seafood (hotel or restaurant chain experience preferred) Minimum 2

years of team leadership experience

, including training and supervising kitchen staff Strong knowledge of Western cuisine, food costing, and stock control Skilled in preparing, cooking, and garnishing Western dishes Familiar with developing and following operational SOPs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organised, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen management principles Diploma or Degree in

Culinary Arts

(preferred but not required) Good command of

English and Bahasa Melayu

Proficient in

MS Office

(advantageous) Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and longer hours when necessary Able to start immediately
