Maverick School is currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Assistant Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As an Assistant Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to ensure the provision of nutritious and delicious meals for our students and staff. We are looking for someone with a passion for culinary arts, strong cooking skills, and the ability to assist in managing kitchen operations effectively. Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Culinary Degree, Diploma, or Certification from a recognized culinary institute, or equivalent experience. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with optional proficiency in Mandarin. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in a professional kitchen, preferably in an educational institution or reputable establishment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Passion for culinary arts and a solid understanding of various cooking techniques and international cuisines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to adapt recipes and assist in menu development to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards of food quality and safety. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and support the Head Chef.
