We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Assistant Consultant based in our Tricor Axcelasia Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Reporting to the manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our growth.

Key responsibilities:

Operations/Functional Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Director/ Field in-charge in advisory engagement planning prior to commencement of the said engagement.
  • Assist the Director/ Field in-charge in executing the advisory fieldwork based on agreed scope of work for by obtaining, analysing and evaluating relevant records, reports, documentation, data, flowcharts etc.
  • Prepare the required work deliverable[s] or task[s] that is assigned by Director/ Field in-charge or Senior Consultant of the said engagement.
  • Assist in preparing draft report and where applicable, presentation as well as training materials for briefing to the client.
  • Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector\'s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the Director/ Field in-charge.
People Management:
  • Effective reporting and consultation with Manager/ Director.
  • Coordination & Communication with other team members / other Divisions.
Clients Relationship:
  • Achieving individual targets as well as within the group
  • Managing Client Relationships - maintaining good rapport with clients.
  • Ability to achieve Client Satisfaction & Retention
  • Assisting in Cross Selling Other Tricor Services
Key requirements:
  • Degree course in Finance / Accounting/ Business Administration or professional qualification (ACCA/ CIMA/ CPA/ CIA) or related field.
  • Fresh graduate or candidates with limited working experience.
  • Able to perform with skillset of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
  • Possess strong command of English with a flair of report writing.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytic skill.
  • Prepared to travel whenever required.
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good time management.
