Job Responsibilities
Provide the most epic dining experience for our guests at all times
Produce and prepare all basic menu food items
Able to work within any section of the outlet and identify flavor/seasoning balances and correct and discrepancies
Follow the menus, recipes, guidelines and methods provided
Report any machinery/technical faults to Chef De Cuisine
Ensure that they are working to company, HACCP, and USPH guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas
Carry out clear down routines after service and ensure the appearance and condition of all items meet Virgin Voyages standards.
Notify Chef De Cuisine of any guest complaints raised and seek to resolve.
Be familiar with all cruise service/features and activations to respond to guest inquiries3accurately
Job Requirements
Minimum 1 year experience as Assistant / Junior Cook onboard a cruise ship or 4 / 5-starhotel/resort
Possess advanced knife handling skills
Basic knowledge of food handling procedures with regard to public health standards
Basic understanding of food specifications
Able to communicate in English
No visible tattoo
Salary range - USD900 - USD1,100
