Job Description

Position: Assistant Director of SalesSalary range: RM 6,000.00 to RM 8,000.00 (Can be negotiated based on experience)Working location: Senai, Johor BahruResponsibilities:Work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies that align with the property\'s business objectives.Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets, providing guidance and support as needed.Manage key client accounts and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and identify opportunities for growth within the local and regional markets.Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable for the property while maximizing revenue potential.Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improving sales performance.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and sales collateral to support sales efforts.Represent the hotel/property at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and generate new business leads.Requirements:Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and effectively managing a sales team.Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset to capitalize on market opportunities.Flexibility to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and business development activities.Only those with hotel sales experience are eligible to apply.Reference Number:Contact Details:Fauzi_Kamalruddin@persolkelly.comProfession:Sales and Marketing
