Job Description

Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the Manager in all aspects of estate operation and management such as planning, organizing, implementing and controlling all operations and activities with the estates according to the practice and guidelines provided by the Company. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the Manager in ensuring the achievement of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s targets. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the Manager in managing expenditures within the approved limits. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the Manager in organizing, supervising, training, coaching and counselling and assessing team members towards achieving optimum productivity and work quality. \xe2\x80\xa2 To ensure the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Policies and Standards Operating Procedures in the plantation operations and management are being adhered to accordingly. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the Manager in managing oil palm plantation from all phases of estate works including land development, maintenance of optimum corp production, cost management and overall estate operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist the Manager in ensuring that health and safety measures and guidelines are followed. Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree/ Diploma in Agriculture/ Plantation Management or related discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in the oil palm industry with a minimum of 8 - 10 years at the plantation management level. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good working knowledge of jungle land clearing, nursery, planting, maintenance/ upkeep and management of oil palm plantation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of labour laws, estate management, environment and safety requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Dynamic personality with the initiative, ability and commitment to work in challenging environments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong leadership and good organizational skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in peat development will be an advantage.
