We are currently looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual who would like to embark on an exciting career to join us in the following position:

JOB DESCRIPTION;

  • The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper. An AssistantExecutive Housekeeper is familiar with all duties of the housekeeping department, and is responsible for training of staff and planning their work schedules.
  • He/she is responsible for the observation of quality standards and their accomplishments, particularly the controlling of the rooms\xc2\xb4 cleanliness.
  • The role also includes maintaining the high standards of cleanliness of public areas as well as back-of-house areas. Maintenance issues with furniture, fittings and equipment are immediately reported to the head of department.
KEY TASKS;
  • To report to the Executive Housekeeper on the daily running of the Department during his/her shift.
  • To supervise Room Supervisors in their daily jobs and ensure rooms is cleaned and released as per the resort standard established by the Executive Housekeeper.
  • To coordinate with Engineering department on the repair and upkeep of the rooms.
  • To carry out training for all Room Attendant on monthly basis.
  • To ensure that the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance in all areas under Housekeeping Department are met.
ESSENTIAL & REQUIREMENTS;
  • Candidate must possess at least a SPM/STPM, diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/HotelManagement or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good command of English, Malay and any other languages is an advantage.
  • Must be able to use Microsoft word and Excel.
  • Working experience in a similar position in a 5 Star Hotel for 2-3 years.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Langkawi.
