Market Research: Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitors to make informed purchasing decisions.Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, buyers, suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure favorable purchasing conditions.Product Selection: Curate a selection of products that align with the brand\'s image and target market, considering style, quality, and price.Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and sales performance to manage inventory effectively, ensuring optimal product availability.Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for purchasing, ensuring that costs align with financial goals and projections.Collaboration: Work closely with buyers, and marketing teams to align product offerings with brand strategies and promotional campaigns.Sales Analysis: Evaluate sales data and trends to make informed decisions about future purchases and inventory adjustments.Trend Forecasting: Stay updated on fashion trends and emerging designers to anticipate customer needs and preferences.Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A diploma/ degree in fashion merchandising, business, or a related field is typically preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret sales data and market trends. Microsoft office in excel is a must.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best prices and terms from suppliers.
  • Creativity: A keen eye for fashion and trends to select appealing products especially on menswear.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
