Job Description
Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry based in Singapore, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join the client\'s team in Johor, Malaysia. The Assistant Finance Manager is a pivotal role in the company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial records and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing financial reports and financial statements for internal and external use.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
- Support the Finance Manager in the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
