Group Assistant Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a renowned healthcare company in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Group Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for group finance and consolidation matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in Sunway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparation and review of quarterly consolidation.
• Prepare and present group financial numbers with relevant financial analysis to the Board on quarterly basis.
• Participate in review of operating reports for other regions.
• Responsible for coordination of statutory audit and tax matters for the group.
• Liaise and provide support when necessary to country team to ensure quality and timely financial reporting.
• Assist in annual budgeting activities.
• Perform in ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• MUST be a professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial reporting and consolidation, preferably with a career foundation in external audit in a Big 4 Firm.
• Possess strong critical thinking, people management and analytical skills
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
