Assistant Financial Controller (afc)

Job Description
- Responsible for achieving timely and accurate statutory financial statements compliance for an assigned portfolio of APAC entities
- Liaising, coordinating, and supporting the preparation of financial statements and review the work of our outsourced partners
- Coordinate and manage the audit process with our statutory auditors
- Support adoption for tools, solutions and frameworks implemented to enhance and improve the Statutory Compliance process.
- Collaborate with Client\xe2\x80\x99s Statutory Compliance team to ensure consistent implementation of IFRS and other accounting standards in APAC.
- Preferably candidates with bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline
- Recognized accounting qualification (CA, ACCA)
- Preferably candidates with 6 - 8+ years relevant experience with a fast-growing, multinational company or professional services
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
- A self-starter who will collaborate closely with the Entity Lead and accepts the responsibility for the processes and actions they carry out.
- Experienced in implementing and improving business processes and systems
- Highly collaborative, excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being comfortable with navigating change
