JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPlanning & AnalysisSupport the implementation of financial planning processes and conduct financial analyses to identify weaknesses and variances. Provide recommendations to improve the performance of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.Monitor the financial performance of the business and track progress against the budget.BudgetingAssist the FP&A Manager in the budgeting and financial projection processes.Business Finance MattersAid the FP&A Manager in making financial decisions across all business areas, including profitability and margin analysis in sales transactions and customer payment models.Collaborate with the FP&A Manager, CSU, and Commercial Function in CCC (or in-house) to manage the financial aspects of contracts with customers and suppliers.Stock Valuation & Obsolescence ManagementOversee inventory valuation to ensure compliance with Group policies and accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and proper valuation.Support inventory count exercises and reconcile discrepancies.Monitor stock aging, calculate obsolete inventory provisions, participate in inventory review meetings, and assess the impact of provisions on business profitability.Working Capital and Cash ManagementAssist the FP&A Manager in monitoring and managing financial assets, improving working capital and liquidity management, tracking DSO, and optimizing fund utilization.Analyze collection trends, monitor stock turnover, track aging customer payments, and take necessary actions.Management Accounts Reporting & Group ReportingWork with the HUB team to review month-end and year-end account closures.Annual Statutory Accounts ReportingCollaborate with the HUB team to prepare and participate in annual stock and debtors reviews.Assist with external audits, stock takes, and the preparation of audit schedules with the HUB team.Internal ControlsEnsure compliance with the Group\'s internal control procedures and DOA policies.Withholding Tax (WHT)Review contracts and agreements with the Operations team to determine WHT payment responsibilities.Apply for and obtain Certificates of Residence (COR) or Certificates of Domicile (CD) for concessionary WHT rates under applicable Double Taxation Agreements (DTAs).JOB REQUIREMENTMinimum of 2 years of finance experience, candidates with GL or RTR related experience have added advantage.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.#LI-JACMY
