Job Description


REQUIREMENTS 1. Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah 2. Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field (e.g., mechanical engineering, materials science, or related discipline) is preferred. 3.Basic knowledge of inspection techniques and NDT methods is an advantage. 4.Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, and ISO standards) is beneficial. 5.Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures. 6.Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. 7.Willingness to learn and adapt to new inspection technologies and practices. 8.Safety-conscious and committed to following safety protocols. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist in inspecting various equipment and components, including pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, valves, and other critical assets.
  • Learn and apply industry-specific inspection techniques and methodologies under the guidance of senior inspectors.
  • Document inspection findings, measurements, and test results accurately and comprehensively.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and contribute to the development of inspection plans and schedules.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements to ensure inspections adhere to relevant guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Assist with the interpretation of NDT results and the identification of defects or anomalies.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety by adhering to safety protocols and procedures during inspections.
  • Contribute to maintaining and enhancing the quality and reliability of oil and gas facilities.
  • Participate in the assessment of equipment condition and provide input on maintenance and repair recommendations.
  • Assist in monitoring the condition of equipment, ensuring it remains operational and safe.
  • Collaborate with senior inspectors, engineers, and other team members to facilitate effective inspection activities.
  • Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and all relevant documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing and storage of inspection records for future reference.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 36 months Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month Benefits:
