Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee the end-to-end process of customer defect handling, rectification, and technical support to ensure timely resolution, customer satisfaction, and compliance with quality standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Defects Management
Oversee the management of post-handover defects and ensure timely rectification in accordance with the company's SOP.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure all defects are attended to efficiently.
Conduct site inspections and verification of defect rectification works to ensure quality workmanship.
Maintain a proper record and tracking of all defect cases using the internal defect management system.
2. Customer Relations C Communication
Serve as the main point of contact for purchasers on technical and defect-related matters.
Manage customer expectations and provide clear updates on the progress of defect rectification works.
Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and ensure resolution within stipulated timelines.
3. Process C Quality Improvement
Identify recurring defect issues and work with the Quality Assurance and Project teams to implement preventive measures.
Provide feedback and recommendations for improving design, construction methods, or materials to minimize future defects.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency.
4. Reporting C Compliance
Prepare regular reports on defect status, turnaround time, and contractor performance.
Ensure compliance with ISO standards, and company policies related to quality and customer service.
Support management in audits, customer satisfaction surveys, and performance reviews.
Requirements:
Minimum Diplomain Business Administration, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in property development, construction, or customer care focusing on defects management.
Good understanding of construction defects, building materials, and finishing works.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools and defect management systems.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to handle complaints professionally.
Good coordination, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Possess own transport and be willing to travel to all Lagenda project sites.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
