Job Purpose: The Digital Marketing and PR Assistant Manager\'s role is a dynamic one that requires a strong combination of digital marketing, advertising, and public relations skills. Ideally suited for someone who has previously worked in an Agency. The person is responsible for ideating and executing social media strategies to promote Rakuten Trade\'s products or services and in leveraging on digital marketing strategies to promote trading on Bursa Malaysia. Duties and responsibilities: Digital Marketing Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms. Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all channels. Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage and resonate with them. Use Google Analytics and Meta Business Analytics to improve and optimize digital marketing footprints through unpaid initiatives. Oversee the execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive user engagement. Monitor campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization Support events that promote trading on Bursa Malaysia Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and other departments, to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns. Public Relations: Manage PR activities, media inquiries and interview requests. Produce editorial materials such as media releases, media alerts and articles to promote Rakuten Trade\'s key messages, brand and reputation. Actively seek and identify editorial and other PR opportunities. Create educational outreach that bridges the technical aspects of investing into easy-to-understand information as well as shares developments for public consumption Business Development Leverage on data analysis to provide digital solutions that will help the business grow / achieve targets Identify potential business partnerships and collaborations that could benefit the company. Manage the RakuElite program to boost market share Manage the Affiliate Marketing Program Keep abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to stay ahead in the social media landscape. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Marketing / Communication/Business or equivalent. At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.). Strong data analytics and communication skills. Strong understanding of current marketing trends, concepts, strategy and global best practices. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel is a must. Good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable evidence of ability to generate content and a good sense of what is \'newsworthy\' in a PR sense. Experience in e-commerce, email marketing, and social media is a plus. Added advantage: financial acumen. A team player, digital savvy, creative and outgoing personality. Special Requirements (if any): Communications or PR agency experience.
