Assistant Manager, eCommerce (Buying)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

Support the department to build and drive the revenue growth of adidas eCommerce along with:

  • Living the vision set by the Global eCom team: \xe2\x80\x9cto become the premium destination through an innovative shopping experience\xe2\x80\x9d on both dot.com & Marketplaces
  • Implementing and adopting Omnichannel & Consumer-centric approach to daily practice
  • Bridging the relationship effectively between country direction & SEA eCommerce strategies
Accountabilities:

Onsite Merchandising & Inventory Management
  • Responsible for Inventory management within Marketplace and .com via stock sharing logic. Working with hub for further insights
  • Inventory monitoring: Keep eCom inventory levels healthy (MOH) within eCom 3PL DC and adidas Central DC through periodic stock cleansing and timely movement to appropriate platforms i.e. e-Marketplaces for aged stocks.
  • Monitor and improve Inline seasonal Sell-through
  • Submission of eCom .com promo pricing, distribution & mark-downs in compliance with OMNI specific guidelines
  • Submission of monthly .com content load, driven by the Masterdata team at SEA hub: pricing, price change, discount exclusions, block list, HLDs, etc. to support campaign launches and BAU selling
  • Additional competitor/industry Insights to support decisions and guidance on stock movement and overall inventory management
Analytics & Reporting
  • Analyse Sell-through data provided by HUB to improve the performance of inventory
  • Supporting key milestones: Inventory decision-making post alignment with HUB, Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Review (QBR), internal alignments
Admin & P&L tracking
  • Ensure NTP procurement compliance by keeping track of ePO raising, invoicing and recharging activities /// only Marketplace both MP & dot.com
Project management (support)
  • Support role in SEA eCom project rollouts/ or other local initiatives (UAT, DRY runs & Market preparation).
  • Support change management/ procedure at the country level to other stakeholders after direction provided by Hub (training, new processes, new systems)

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills
  • University degree in Marketing or Business Administration or Economics or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in product management, marketing or data science, analytics, statistics, merchandising in a retail environment, and exposure in eCommerce business is highly preferred
  • Good understanding of global branding principles and adherence, significant knowledge of full Marketing mix with major brand
