JOB SUMMARY

Support budget planning and control, including monthly management accounts, annual budget preparation, variance analysis, and student number forecasting. Prepare sustainability and financial reports for senior leadership, including presentations to the Executive and Board-level committees. Oversee end-to-end financial operations such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, audits, tax planning, and tender evaluations. Lead Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives -- design data-driven solutions, simulations, visualizations, and sustainable business models to support strategic decision-making. Partner with departments to ensure accurate costing of projects, courses, and activities, enabling financially sound and sustainable decisions. Drive digitalisation of finance operations by replacing legacy systems, enhancing reporting, improving fixed asset management, and streamlining financial workflows. Implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives while promoting continuous improvement in policies, systems, and staff capability development. Contribute to and manage strategic planning initiatives within the Finance, Budget & Administration (FBA) Unit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a business-related discipline from a recognized institution. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a commercial or audit environment, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Professional qualification/membership (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, MIA) is an added advantage. Proficient with digital and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, UiPath, Python, or similar. Strong expertise in business analysis, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, process improvement, and risk management.
