JOB SUMMARY

Support budget planning and control, including monthly management accounts, annual budget preparation, variance analysis, and student enrolment forecasting. Prepare financial and sustainability reports for senior leadership, including presentations to Executive and Board-level committees. Oversee full-cycle financial operations such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, audits, tax planning, and tender evaluations. Lead Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives by developing data-driven solutions, simulations, visualizations, and sustainable business models to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate costing of projects, courses, and activities, enabling sound and sustainable financial decisions. Drive the digitalisation of finance operations by replacing legacy systems, enhancing reporting, strengthening fixed asset management, and streamlining financial workflows. Implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives, while fostering continuous improvement in policies, systems, and staff capabilities. Contribute to and support strategic planning initiatives within the Finance, Budget & Administration (FBA) Unit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a business-related field from a recognized institution. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or audit environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Professional qualification/membership (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA, MIA) will be an added advantage. Proficiency with digital and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, UiPath, Python, or similar. Strong skills in business analysis, budgeting and forecasting, internal controls, process improvement, and risk management.
