Assistant Finance Manager

What You Will Do

The position is responsible for:

• The candidate will be responsible for leading Franchise business support and analytics for Singapore, business partner by leading planning and analysis activities for the same, leading FP&A reporting support for MYSG Finance. Also work with finance partners in global finance, Tax and regional FP&A Team. Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

Financial Support

• Lead Financial planning and reporting for MYSG operations including One stream support.

• Provide financial analysis and support for Singapore operations.

• Period closing activities of the Franchise spends (co-work with accounting department), including variance analysis and management report preparation and explanations for Singapore.

• Review and support commercial partners on NPI/ PIPO project evaluation and analytics for Singapore.

• Review and support commercial partners on pricing scenarios and proposals & analytics for Singapore.

• Lead consolidation and analytics of the NTS and CIW for MYSG Operations

• Lead the consolidation of budget review decks.

• Timely and proactive feedback on financial implications of events to key stakeholders.

• Ensure pricing approvals provided and maintenance of price for various price groups in SAP.

• Ensure policies and procedures are followed including compliance with WWP / SOX guidelines.

Management Support

• Support and challenge commercial leads and other team members, as a core Business Partner.

• Proactively make recommendations and take actions to achieve Business Plan.

• Support strong Compliance awareness, within the business operations.

• Understand the monthly sales trends and drivers by channel / product line and ensure steps are taken to address gaps with Sales and Marketing teams.

• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) by evaluating the opportunities and managing all aspects of financial assessment including ROI, IRR, and cash flow analysis.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

Preferred Area of Study: Finance/Accounting, ACCA / CMA or other financial certification.

Required Years of Related Experience: Over 5 to 7 years

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong FP&A planning and reporting knowledge

• Strong analytical skills and business acumen

• Strong knowledge of Finance / Accounting principles and processes

• Should be a strong team player

• Should have passion for data analytics and insights gathering from same

• Business partnering skills to influence / partner with business stakeholders

• Ability to manage and negotiate with internal/external stakeholders

• Independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are critical to success
