Job Title : Assistant Manager, FP&A

Location : Malaysia

Position Description:

Base in Malaysia, reporting to a Snr Finance Manager in Singapore. As part of the SEA Fin team, the incumbent will assist to support Malaysia front office operations in KL and to fill in the FP&A support to a few key high growth segments in Singapore/Asia. An exciting role for one who loves autonomy and prepared to roll up sleeves get your hands dirty when necessary, plenty of learning opportunities within a growing company.

Key responsibilities:
  • Involved in preparation of Annual Budgets, Rolling Forecast and Estimates
  • Monthly consolidation and reporting of country/regional numbers
  • Preparation of business review decks and provide insights into the company\'s financial performance - key metrics in both quantitative and qualitative ones
  • Partner with key business managers in Malaysia in driving performance by providing regular & sharp analytics
  • Work closely with Finance Global Service centre in codification of invoices for processing, managing interco recharges, and month end close reviews and journals
  • Support audit process (internal and external)
  • Assist with local SST and corporate tax filings
  • Assist with the review and implementation of internal controls
  • Liaise with group treasurer and local banks for MY bank matters
  • Data analytics with sources from multiple systems to pull together meaningful and easy to read management information.
  • Super user of ERP analytics module, ability to create and run query reports
  • Back up financial support to Malaysia mid-office operations centre
Relevant Experience & Skills:
  • Minimum of 3 years of above relevant experience
  • An eye for details
  • Strong in Excel functions (Pivot table, Vlookup and Sumif formulae)
  • Good local accounting knowledge and tax filing experience
  • Highly motivated individual, resourceful and able to multi-task and to meet tight timelines and work independently
  • Inquisitive mind to challenge status quo
  • Comfortable to work in a matrix environment with strong agility to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SAP would be advantageous
Professional Qualifications :
  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA)
