Job Purpose

• To support Managers in evaluating, structuring, executing and managing investments (including joint ventures, asset acquisitions & divestments, fund investments and co-investments)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage origination activities, including sourcing potential investment opportunities, developing relationships with partners and expanding SD Property\'s investor base.
• Manage M&A / Joint Ventures / Strategic Partnership opportunities to deliver inorganic growth for SD Property.
• Responsible for building and/or reviewing financial models and financial analysis, including overseeing the implementation of best practices and providing guidance to Executives / Senior Executives.
• Preparation of approval papers for investment proposals, including market research, deal structuring, business case analysis, financial analysis, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment.

• Execution and management of investment deals, including conducting appropriate due diligence.
• Monitoring of investment performance and ensuring compliance with SD Property\'s investment standards and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring of market trends and risks.
• Assist Managers in managing a team of executives/senior executives, mentoring and coaching junior staff members and promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Accountable (with P&L responsibilities) for the growth of SD Property\'s investments and their respective performance.

Education/Professional Qualification

Bachelor\'s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent

Receipt of a professional certification in Real Estate, Accounting or Finance is an added advantage.

Proficiency in Financial Modelling

Professional Experience

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in corporate finance and investments with a preference for real estate investment management background
