Job Description

Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager supports the Outlet Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service flow, excellent customer experience, and adherence to company standards. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining operational efficiency, assisting with financial controls, and stepping in as Acting Manager when required.

1. Operations Management

Support the Outlet Manager in managing daily outlet operations. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards. Monitor service quality, food presentation, and cleanliness. Assist with staff scheduling, task delegation, and shift management.

2. Staff Supervision & Development

Supervise, guide, and motivate staff to deliver high-quality service. Assist in training new staff on company standards and procedures. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for improvement. Handle minor conflicts and escalate major HR issues to the Outlet Manager.

3. Customer Service

Greet and engage with customers to ensure satisfaction. Address customer concerns and complaints in a professional manner. Support staff during peak periods by assisting in operations when needed.

4. Financial & Inventory Assistance

Assist with monitoring sales, daily cash handling, and record keeping. Support inventory management including ordering, stock checks, and waste control. Ensure resources are used efficiently to control costs.

5. Team Collaboration

Work closely with the Outlet Manager to implement improvements. Ensure smooth communication between FOH (Front of House) and BOH (Back of House) teams. Take charge of operations in the absence of the Outlet Manager.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (as advantage) At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience in F&B or retail industry. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
