An Assistant Operations Manager in Food and Beverage (F&B) typically assists the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the overall success of the F&B department. This role involves managing staff, maintaining service quality, and contributing to financial goals within budgeted guidelines. Assisting in Daily Operations:

Supporting the Operations Manager in overseeing all aspects of F&B operations, including dining outlets, bars, and banquet services.

Ensuring Exceptional Guest Experiences:

Focusing on creating memorable and positive dining experiences for all guests.

Managing Staff:

Leading and motivating F&B staff, ensuring optimal manning levels, and providing coaching and guidance for their development.

Maintaining Service Standards:

Ensuring high standards of service quality and food hygiene, adhering to operating procedures and health and safety regulations.

Contributing to Financial Goals:

Collaborating with team to achieve revenue, cost control, and other financial targets.

Inventory and Ordering:

Managing beverage and food orders, ensuring adequate stock levels, and maintaining points of sale to meet targets.

Menu Development and Marketing:

Participating in menu planning, identifying customer needs, and supporting marketing initiatives to drive sales.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and providing reports on sales, feedback, and productivity.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

Experience:

Prior experience in a managerial role, preferably in a 1 year restaurant setting.

Leadership and Communication:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of F&B Operations:

Familiarity with drink recipes, beverage service standards, and general F&B operations.

Financial Acumen:

Understanding of budgets, operating statements, and payroll reports.

Customer Service:

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns.

Education:

A degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
