We make an impact by enhancing Grab cash flow, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. If you are looking for an opportunity to make an impact, then you should join our team!About the Assignment:As the Assistant Manager, Cash Applications, you will be an integral part of the Order to Cash (OTC) team, responsible for overseeing and refining the cash receipt activities. You will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and improving team reporting capabilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely application of customer payments, reconciling accounts, and addressing payment discrepancies. Joining the Order to Cash team presents a unique opportunity for professional growth as we embark on an expansive journey into the receivables collection framework. This role encompasses system reporting and processes across all ASEAN nations where Grab has a presence, providing you with the chance to contribute significantly to our regional operations.Key Responsibilities:Cash Application Management: Oversee the accurate and timely application of customer payments, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.Issue Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to unapplied cash and payment discrepancies through effective problem-solving strategies.Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, vendors, internal stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on accounts receivable (AR) status and resolve inquiries.Process Improvement: Analyze cash flow and application metrics to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.Reconciliation: Ensure meticulous review and reconciliation of accounts to prevent errors, minimize financial discrepancies, and maintain compliance with regulations and internal policies.Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on cash application performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.QualificationsThe Must-Haves:Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or a similar role.Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using financial software and ERP systems. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Competencies:Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders, providing timely updates on AR status to ensure transparency and build positive relationships.Problem-solving Abilities: Identify root causes of complex issues related to Cash Application activities and develop effective solutions to resolve them promptly while maintaining positive customer relationships.Functional/Technical Skills: Demonstrate strong functional and technical knowledge to ensure accuracy in processing payments and reconciliations, meticulously reviewing documents and verifying transaction details for compliance.Drive for Results: Analyze cash flow and application metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize cash application processes.Strategic Ability: Identify and implement efficiencies in cash application processes, proactively improving systems and procedures to support business objectives.Additional InformationBenefits at Grab:We care deeply about your well-being and are committed to supporting you every step of the way.
