Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

His main areas of responsibilities are to establish and maintain manufacturing operation and process procedures in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with the aim of producing quality products meeting International Standards at all times. He will also assist the Production Manager in recommending objectives and strategies including production planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the operation activities to achieve company goals Participate in management decision on Company's policies and practices pertaining to the Production functions under his jurisdiction. Exercise control over the administration of procedures and programs pertaining to manufacturing functions and Production operations. Train and manage a team of manufacturing personnel to run the manufacturing operation. Formulate Production Control system to include capacity planning, production requirements planning, material requirements planning and performance monitoring. Provide technical support and consultation to the dipping operation. Lead the production team to optimize equipment and labor utilization, productivity, cycle time and process equipment control. Enforce discipline and generate a healthy working environment with positive inter-department Co-ordination to achieve effective communication and productivity. Always emphasis on safety issues in workplace to inspire safety. Responsible for Company's Policies and Quality Management System (QMS). Responsible for Safety's Policies and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS)

Job Requirement:

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering At least 3-5 years managerial experience in glove manufacturing industrisy . Well verse in machine operation/setting/maintenance/repair or trouble shooting. Reliable and hardworking with proven good employment track record. Excellent leadership, problem solving, integration and interpersonal skills. Able to build a strong culture of teamwork and align departmental goals to the Company's strategic objectives. Working knowledge of best manufacturing practices including lean manufacturing is added advantage. Knowledge in ISO 13485, ISO 90001, ISO 4500, ISO14001 and lean six sigma.
