Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. Over the years, MFM has grown to become one of the leading flour millers in Malaysia. Outside of Malaysia, MFM also has presence in the flour milling industry in Vietnam and Indonesia. In Indonesia, MFM is one of the shareholders in PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia, along with Toyota Tsusho Group (Japan) and PT FKS Food and Ingredients (Indonesia).

MFM ventured into the poultry feed business in 1983 and since then has expanded considerably across the poultry value chain in breeding, farming and processing, to become one of the leading poultry integrators in Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Provides operations with analytical support for process and product control, technical support, guidance, and training, which is crucial towards implementing and measuring benchmarks to achieve optimum plant performance
• Manage the development, implementation, review and maintenance according with the Quality Assurance system
• This includes direct responsibility for updates to all quality related and assistance in the evaluation of current and proposed system procedures.
• Set Quality Assurance compliance objectives and ensure that targets are achieved
• Prevents HACCP, SSOP and process or product failures by working with Food Safety and Quality Assurance staff members and Operations to drive continuous improvement of product quality through developing food safety and quality plans, process controls, attention to process and specifications, food safety and quality training.
• Manage and maintain the site HACCP, Preventative Controls Programs and Pest Control
• Coordinate the daily quality operations at production and manage operations process and product quality and plant & personnel sanitation.
• Interact and communicate with Logistics and Production team regarding scheduling, sourcing, and production output
• Work with procurement staff to establish quality requirements from suppliers and maintain quality documentation of all ingredients used on production
• Maintain quality requirements of internal and external warehousing
• Ensure the accuracy of production reporting, product test results, cleaning logs, and other shift documents, including the oversite of daily batch record review
• Track and investigate complaints and respond to the vendor or customer
• Develop and recommend test procedures for finished products and raw materials. This includes maintaining equipment calibration, ensuring test procedures are properly performed, and maintaining and trending all data
• Manage the site pest control program
• Manage and maintain the operations quality inspection and product release/disposition programs for incoming, in-process, and finished goods, including review and sign-off of all test results and generation/approval of Certificates of Analysis
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of new developments, technology, and processes

• Candidates must possess at least Degree in Food Technology, Food Processing Engineering or any related studies
• Candidates with at least 5 years of poultry processing experience or food industry preferred
