This person will be joining the business development and operations team. This team is responsible for building the next-generation payment gateway that will revolutionise and power payments in the AP landscape.
Get to know the Role
Acquiring Partnership & Account Management (Payment Brands & Merchants)
Payment Brands
Person will assist in executing on payment projects that will help expand the function's payment product offering.
Merchants
Person will assist in sales activities across tier 1 and 2 merchants, servicing these merchants in their complete payment needs.
Partner Integration
Payment Brands, Merchants & Vendors
Person will project manage the integration process by working with cross-functional teams (e.g. product, engineering).
The Day-to-Day Activities
Strategic Account Management
Collaborate closely with international payment brands to identify opportunities that will result in scalable product launches across SEA markets.
Quick in closing off commercial deals through effective stakeholder management and strong communication skills.
Timely execution of strategic initiatives by managing the end-to-end implementation and execution process.
BD & Partnership
Develop a named account list with account plans for winning and expanding business with upper mid-market and enterprise companies regionally (merchants & payment aggregators).
Devise outbound strategies to create and nurture opportunities.
Own the full sales cycle from lead to close.
Work with strategic third party partners to launch solutions that will drive further ecosystem value.
Ensure the strategic partners are contracted and onboarded as approved partners.
Technical Integration
Develop and manage end-to-end project plans
Work across cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and others to ensure timely delivery.
Own operational relationships across payment partners
The Must-Haves
Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in regional roles and payments industry
Prior experience in managing payment integration projects is preferred
Good understanding of the payment landscape in Southeast Asia
Prior experience in launching a new business is preferred
Previous experience in project/program management as a TPM, engineer, product manager, or the equivalent skills
