An exciting Assistant Manager, Risk and Compliance opportunity for a global MNC and a market leader in the industry.

As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance

  • Lead Compliance Officer for Business Unit Consumer Goods
  • Support Compliance Officers for other Business Units within the company such as developing and implementing Business Unit specific Compliance program
  • Monitors changes in pertinent local laws and regulations
  • Assesses and reports impact of regulatory changes on local policy framework
  • Drives local implementation of corporate compliance policies & programs
  • Conducts periodic compliance reviews and proposes process improvements
  • Support or assists in conducting periodic fraud, bribery, and other compliance risk assessments
  • Support third party risk assessment, screening and due diligence process
  • Internal reporting or escalation of compliance incidents or violations
  • Supports agreement, due diligence and compliance commitment completion process
Risk Management
  • Review, recommend and enhance (where appropriate) the current Risk Management's roadmap, policy, framework, methodology and system
  • Present organization Risk updates to the Enterprise Risk Management Committee and Board of Directors of the Company
  • Champion the company Business Continuity Management framework by developing working tools, templates and ensure consistent implementation of the BCM framework throughout the organization
  • Lead for Corporate Insurance matters in the company
  • Preparing, where required, reports for purposes of reporting to Board, Senior Management, and other stakeholders.
Global Presence|Market Leader

The ideal Assistant Manager, Risk & Compliance will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company and must posses the below requirements;

Key Requirements:
  • Degree in Accounting, Degree in Law/Business Studies or equivalent
  • Minimum three years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience doing governance, risk and compliance in an organization of similar size is preferred
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge in the principles of local laws for Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of company laws, regulations and procedures, disclosure requirements of local regulators, etc.
  • Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in any other language is an additional asset
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work as a sole contributor and make sensible decisions where applicable
