Michael Page Governance have partnered with an organisation who are seeking an Assistant Manager, Compliance & Risk. This opportunity is suited to those who thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment, working with experienced and driven business leaders with an appetite for growth.Design, Implement, and Monitor GRC Metrics: Develop GRC metrics for subsidiaries, ensuring IPO readiness, and conduct quarterly follow-ups to identify gaps and provide actionable recommendations.Pre-Investment GRC Assessments: Use corporate hygiene checklists to assess GRC readiness of potential investments, identifying gaps in governance, compliance, and risk frameworks, and providing improvement recommendations.Advisory Services for Subsidiary Companies: Offer guidance on operational efficiency, risk management, and compliance frameworks, demonstrating measurable improvements in processes and compliance adherence.Support for Investigations & Audits: Collaborate on investigations related to risk incidents and governance breaches, providing assistance with internal audits to ensure transparency and regulatory alignment.Compliance Audits, Policy Implementation, & Training: Conduct compliance audits, assist with policy rollout (e.g., PIP, AMLA, BCP), monitor policy adherence, and lead training sessions to promote compliance awareness and ensure LP obligations are met.Fast paced & dynamic businessExposure to a range of different businesses & projectsTo be considered for this role, you will have spent time in an Advisory function with one of the big 6 firms, preferably focused on Risk Management, Internal Controls or Internal Audit. Additional experience in commercial will be highly regarded, particularly if the role / business was fast paced and in a high growth environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders.Our client own and operate a range of businesses, mainly focused around the Manufacturing / FMCG space.This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, motivated and ambitious individual to join a high performing team and company.
