We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Project Management & Coordination to support our sales team in handling non-BAU leasing requests, including finance leases, operating leases &custom commercial or machinery leasing proposals.
This role will play a critical part in developing project papers, managing stakeholder coordination&ensuring the timely execution of exploratory or customized leasing deals that fall outside our current core of passenger vehicle leasing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Support & Coordination
- Assist in evaluating and responding to non-standard customer leasing requests (e.g., commercial vehicles, machinery, custom terms).
- Support end-to-end coordination with internal departments (sales, legal, finance, operations, etc.) to develop viable proposals.
- Track and manage ongoing leasing project pipelines from initial request to final approval/implementation.
2.Project Paper & Proposal Development
- Draft and prepare structured project papers for management review, including financial viability, risk assessment, and operational needs.
- Gather technical and financial input from relevant departments to support proposal quality and accuracy.
3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with sales team members to understand customer-specific requirements.
- Communicate with leasing partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Market Exploration & Feasibility
- Assist in preliminary market study or feasibility reviews for new leasing categories (e.g., commercial fleet, equipment leasing, etc.).
- Identify operational gaps or requirements to support entry into non-BAU segments.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain records of all project requests, decisions, and timelines.
- Prepare regular updates for senior management on project status, risks, and action items.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economy , Project Management or related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience in business coordination, project support, or leasing-related roles (automotive, industrial equipment or finance industry preferred).
3. Strong communication and coordination skills with experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.
4. Ability to write structured project papers and proposals with minimal supervision.
5. Analytical thinking with the ability to identify commercial opportunities and operational risks.
6. High attention to detail, organized, and results-oriented.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
